Easter, Ice Skating, and Family

Wow, we have done a lot of activites since I last wrote. The week before Easter Mike's family came and stayed with us for conference and for Ryan's birthday. We had a great time and loved watching conference. The church is true! :) We bought a membership to our community center here. It has been really fun. We have gone swimming a lot and also used the exercise rooms and basketball courts. Part of the membership is free ice skating so we decided to go last saturday night. William hated it. But we did get one picture so that is all that matters right?

We had a very good easter. On saturday morning before easter we went to the easter egg hunt here. They had a age group for 0-2 year olds. They basically walked up to 5 different helpers and they would hand them candy or toys. It was pretty fun. They had clowns making balloons and William got a sword and he loved it and was so insitent on carrying it everywhere that it ended up popping about 30 minutes after we got it. On Sunday we had a nice easter morning. We put the eggs out on the floor hoping that William would get the concept to pick them up. He wasn't interested in finding the eggs, only in trying (and I mean trying, he would put a piece of candy in and then spit it out and go to the next piece) all of the candy. Church was nice and then we had a good ham and potato dinner with Mike's siblings.

Life is good. We are all happy and CANNOT wait for warm weather. We still sleep with sweats on and lots of blankets and have to wear coats outside.

Judi, I am obsessed with your blog. You do such fun activities! I hope you're doing well. Hopefully soon I'll get my life together and come visit.

So you don't see a future hockey player in William?

right now he could pass for a hockey player with all the gaps between his teeth!

Well maybe he will be like Happy Gilmore, he could not skate either

He does like to bump his chest into things now, kind of like Happy and the batting cages. Hmmmm...we could be on to something here.
